We aim to provide a fun way for ERC members and their partners, guests and children (13 years of age and over) to exercise and build friendships through what is one of the world’s best water sports - rowing.

ERC is open to members at all levels and competencies and provides facilities for seniors and juniors, beginners, experienced, and elite rowers.  The following opportunities are available to ERC members:

• Learn to Row sessions;
• Coached rowing and training;
• Leisure rowing;
• Competitive racing at local, state, and national regattas; and
• A relaxed social environment at the bar and the lounge overlooking the Maribyrnong river plus a host of social functions throughout the year.

The club house is situated at 49 The Boulevard Moonee Ponds.  A fleet of boats and an extensive range of equipment is available for members’ use and if you are a competent rower, you may apply to the Captains' Team This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for allocation of boat/s and oars for the sessions of your choice.  The allocation of the boat, oars, and the time and day/s of availability will be listed on the club's notice board located at the back wall of the boat shed behind the indoor rowing machines.  Beginers and developing rowers will be allocated boats and oars by their coaches or supervisors.

There is also another club notice board located at the back wall of the boat shed on the mezzanine landing on the stairway.  This board will have information on up-coming regattas, regatta entry forms, and competition results.

A third notice board is located on the back wall of the boatshed at the left-hand side of the doorway.  This board is for you to report any damage to the club's property.  It is an integral part of the perpetual maintenance program undertaken by the Boat Manager.

And a fourth white board is located on the door through the back wall of the boatshed.  On this board you are required to enter details of your rowing session and remove them when you have finished rowing.  This record provides one of the checks to determine who is still out on the water at any given time.  See Safety Rules section for further information.

Another notice board will be found in the lounge area of the clubrooms showing matters of interest, notices of social events etc.
