Essendon Rowing Club welcomes new members and offers a variety of membership options to cater for a range of sporting and social interests. Our Membership categories and subscription rates are as follows:

Competitive Active Senior~ $350.00 Subscription
This is the membership that allows you to row, not only for fitness and fun, but also for competition. A Competitive Active Senior membership gives full access to allocated boats and oars, training equipment, gymnasium, coaching, and the Club's social facilities. All Competitive Active Senior members are fully affiliated with Rowing Victoria, which enables you to compete for Essendon in all Rowing Victoria and Rowing Australia sanctioned regattas

Non-Competitive Active Senior ~ $250 Subscription
If you want to enjoy the social and fitness benefits of rowing but without the competition, this is the membership you need. Non-Competitive Active Senior membership gives you access to allocated boats and oars, training equipment, gymnasium, limited coaching, and the Club's social facilities. This category of member can move to Competitive Active Senior membership at any time during a Club year on payment of the Competitor Levy

Non-Active Senior / Social ~ $35 Subscription
This is the perfect membership if you just want to come down to the club and have a beer or other cool drinks at the bar, or use our newly renovated lounge and function centre. This membership is ideal for getting friends and family members involved with the Club.

Active Junior (U18) ~ $180 Subscription
Active Junior membership allows young athletes to become involved in the Club and the sport. Junior membership has all of the benefits of a Competitive Active Senior membership, including coaching and a 'learn to row' course and included in the membership subscription is affiliation as a junior rower with Rowing Victoria.

To Apply for Membership please down-load an Application for Membership by clicking here or collect one from the Club. You will need to obtain the signature of an existing member of at least two years standing to nominate you and that of a Committee member to second your nomination. After filling in the form, attach your cheque for the requisite amount or use the EFTPOS facility in person at the Club’s bar. Alternatively, payment may be made by phone during bar hours on 9370 1973 and quote your credit/debit card details. The bar is open weekdays and Saturday from 4.00pm to 8.00pm and Sunday afternoons from mid-day onwards.
