Published Fri 28 Oct 2022

We are very proud to be able to share some wonderful news with you all.

In addition to winning the Rowing Victoria Grade Club Award for 2022, ERC member DALE BELL has been confirmed as the recipient of the 2022 Rowing Victoria CLUB PERSON OF THE YEAR Award!

This prestigious award is presented by Rowing Victoria to a club member for their outstanding efforts over the 2021-22 season. In particular this award recognises their demonstration of respect, initiative and personal commitment to the sport of rowing and to their club, their ability to work as part of a team, being well respected amongst their peers and fellow club members, and having achieved success and a sense of achievement in their contribution to their club.

Dale’s contribution to ERC since joining in 2016 has been exceptional. In addition to her onwater successes, Dale has given back to the club in many valuable ways including as a volunteer on the Saltwater Challenge regatta committee and various other fundraising and event sub-committees, performing the role of ERC Treasurer since 2020-21 and Chair of the ERC Grants Working Group, and as a volunteer coach and coordinator of the ERC Adult Learn 2 Row and Development Programs

ERC is lucky to have a member like Dale and we congratulate Dale on this award, which will be formally presented at the 2022 Rowing Victoria & Hall of Fame Gala Awards in a few weeks’ time.

Congratulations Dale!
